The Surrogacy Podcast 23: Rachel. This is part 2 of a 3-part interview with Rachel. In this episode, Rachel talks about finding her final intended parents, Marian and David, and their journey to the birth of baby Hugo.

Unfortunately and very sadly, Hugo was diagnosed late in the pregnancy with a genetic condition, and he passed away a few days after his birth. This is a truly moving, heart-wrenching and special story of how four people came together and created a family, and survived the saddest of surrogacy outcomes.

You can listen to Part 3 next, or go back to Part 1 if you haven’t listened already. Rachel’s  Simon also appears on the Podcast in Episode 57, and Rachel’s intended mother Marian in Episode 59.

If you are new to surrogacy, you can read about how to find a surrogate, or how to become a surrogate yourself. You can also download the free Surrogacy Handbook which explains the processes and options.

If you are in Queensland, you can find out about Queensland surrogacy laws. Other states have their own surrogacy laws.

Sarah has published a book, More Than Just a Baby: A Guide to Surrogacy for Intended Parents and Surrogates, the only guide to surrogacy in Australia.

You can find more information in the free Surrogacy Handbook, reading articles in the Blog, by listening to more episodes of the Podcast. You can also book in for a consult with me below.
